In this paper, we propose a new energy recovery driving method for column addressing. This new method is more efficient and saves more time than conventional method. By this method, the amount of power dissipation, which is from energy recovery circuit by itself, is reduced adaptively according to the varied image pattern. Besides, this circuit can be composed of fewer devices than conventional and it will be good solution for high resolution PDP.
