In this paper, we describe the optimum sub field sequences for displaying at 50‐Hz basis rate on PDP: A modified duplicated sub field sequence is represented with much reduction of the large flicker against 50‐Hz basis video signals. Further in the designing procedure, the simulation method for 50‐Hz flicker has developed and verification result between simulation and measurement meets the expectations well.
