A 2.1′ QCIF+ (176 × 208) Continuous Grain Silicon LCD with a monolithic 6‐bit digital driver has been developed. The panel uses a low power, buffer‐less architecture based on a new non‐linear digital‐to‐analogue converter (DAC), and features a new, reduced bezel size, bi‐directional shift register.
