In this work, the electrical characteristics of organic thin film transistors(OTFTs) with the surface‐treated polymer insulator have been investigated. The linear polarized‐UV(LP‐UV) light was exposed on the gate dielectric surface, which is one of the promising methods to induce orientation layers for liquid crystal displays. This treatment modifies the pentacene‐polymer interface and improves OTFT characteristics.
