We studied an image distortion of high‐definition LCDs with anti‐glare (AG) films using novel ray tracing simulation that we developed. We have succeeded in describing the inner diffusion effect for decreasing glittering using our simulation. We have analyzed and quantitatively evaluated displayed images that pass through AG films.
