Abstract In previous works, a high quality reflective TFT‐LCD with an internal asymmetric diffusive micro slant reflector (DMSR) was developed. The DMSR is used to enhance the image quality and had been made by a process with multiple exposures. In this paper, we will describe a new approach to form the same structure by single exposure process. Experimental results demonstrate that the DMSR formed by this new approach can have better performance than the previous one.
