A new plasma enhancement filter architecture has been introduced to the market with benefits such as increased display brightness (high overall filter transmittance), improved environmental durability, improved surface quality, color balancing and index matching. This greatly simplified design is achieved via a patent pending thin film barrier overcoat process that replaces the traditional costly lamination techniques and avoids the quality issues associated with lamination.
