The projection lens for Rear Projection TV/Monitor is addressed in this paper. This lens has the very long back focal length and is composed of two groups that have an acrylic aspheric lens each. The image quality was analyzed with the change of aspheric coefficients. These coefficients were obtained from the curve fitting of the artificially generated surface error based upon the real molding acrylic lens component measurement. As a result, the aspheric component's form error of 2ed group is fifteen times sensitive in comparison to that of 1st group
