Minolta DiMAGE 7 is aimed to be a superior digital camera with super high image quality, high zoom, and ultra high speed comfortable operation, which can be directly compete against conventional SLR cameras. Minolta started DiMAGE 7 sales from June, 2001, which has 7× zoom lens and 5M pixel CCD, yet the weight is only 500 grams (only 1.1 pound). DiMAGE 7 has achieved new photo‐shooting environment through the EVF, which maintains the natural feeling of a conventional SLR camera viewfinder and add various brand‐new features.
