We have developed a very efficient fluorescent red dopant material for use in OLED devices. Applied in a co‐host emitting system of rubrene/Alq 3 (60/40), the device showed an EL efficiency of 5.49 cd/A and 2.59 lm/W at 20 mA/cm 2 and 6.7 V, with a red CIE x, y color coordinates of [0.64, 0.35], which are among the highest ever reported for a red fluorescent dopant. Its device stability is tested to be as good as that of DCJTB.
