Abstract We propose an enhanced integral three‐dimensional imaging system using a curved lens array. The proposed system, which uses a curved lens array, expands the viewing angle remarkably. In addition, by adopting barriers flipped images are eliminated. The principle of the proposed system is explained and the experimental results are provided. We also developed the proposed system by adopting a curved screen.
