Plastic logic has developed a print based process for active matrix display manufacture. This process has no vacuum or mask steps, is scalable, low cost, low temperature, and environmentally friendly. We report on our recent advances in developing our process for large area electronic paper. This includes scaling our process to print 9″ diagonal thin film transistor backplanes with >100,000 pixels (>QVGA) and printing transistors on commodity flexible plastic substrates.
