Utilizing the nano‐machining technique developed the sub‐micrometer oxide powder cathode. Put the sub‐micrometer powder at the bottom next to the nickel disc was the best structure. The maximum cathode current ratio (ΔMIK%) is more than 78% after 3000 hrs of testing.
