The article presents main legal acts related to issues of transplantology in Russia. It is established that the state as represented by legislator can only establish ecological and sanitary standards related to burial but has no possibilities to determine moral side of any rite that is personal affair of any individual. Certainly, the proposed alterations can result in decreasing of number of operations related to transplantation of human organs and tissues. To increase number of operations of transplantation the integrated bank of donors is needed to be organized with the purpose of popularization of donorship and expansion of interaction with health authorities.
