Integral parts of our cultural heritage are sculptural, architectural ensembles and memorials which are devoted to historical events or outstanding people. Similar structures are presented in many countries, due to the natural desire of the local people to immortalize some historical events. Some features of landscape design of Sevastopol’s memorials are examined in this work. Sevastopol is located at the southwestern tip of the Crimean Peninsula and was awarded the title Hero City. Due to geographical position and unique climate, Sevastopol has rich history with lots of events. Many of the significant places in the Crimea have historical, archeological, architectural, or landscape memorial status.
