Slow traffic is one of the main ways of people travelling in Taiyuan city. This paper discusses the xerrent situation and problems of slow traffic in Taiyuan. It puts forward the strategy of slow traffic development and the counter-measures of constructing low carbon and sustainable slow traffic system approach. This paper aims to achieve the Taiyuan slow traffic system with the goal of safe, comfortable, fast and healthy.
