The development of economic level has increased people demand for energy, among which the demand for electricity has significantly increased. In order to meet people's needs for electric power, China has vigorously carried out electric power engineering, and adhered to the environment-saving principles to carry out energy conservation and emission reduction for electric power engineering. Management by objective, the modern management concept, is a management mode that can coordinate the self-control of enterprises and improve the efficiency of enterprises by reducing internal costs. This paper studies the application of management by objective in power engineering cost, clarifies the main contents of this management mode. The specific application of management by objective in power engineering cost is also analyzed.
