在线路较长的地铁隧道中间一般均设计通风竖井即中间风井。由于风井内施工作业空间狭小又四周结构封闭吊装及拆装一些接收和二次始发材料困难通常选择整环管片通缝拼装的方式盾构机可利用自身推力通过风井而在小半径曲线段盾构过区间风井增加了一些姿态控制难度。
