In higher vocational English education, in addition to cultivating students’ four basic English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, teachers should also combine humanities and ideological and political education to cultivate students’ moral cultivation and basic political consciousness, so as to promote students’ moral, intellectual, physical, and comprehensive development of. This article analyzes the higher vocational English teaching mode under the curriculum ideological and political system, and proposes relevant measures and suggestions to improve the higher vocational English ideological and political education based on the actual problems, in order to play the function of higher vocational English teaching and educating people.
