The article considers the problem of social orientation of road safety taking intoaccount the professional reliability of the driver in the transport process. It is shown that road trafficis a certain social process of society in which people's behavior is always determined by the socialenvironment and in which road safety is of paramount importance. It is concluded that in thetransport process, road safety is determined both by the basis of the professional reliability of thedriver and the level of his or her "social adaptation".
