The article discusses the features of inheritance of residential premises under a joint will and inheritance agreement. The relevance of this topic is justified by the introduction of new institutions of “joint will” and “inheritance contract” in the domestic legislation. According to the results of the study, it is concluded that the preparation of joint wills for Bank Deposit violates the regime of Bank secrecy and therefore it is necessary to fix it in art. 1118 of the civil code of the Russian Federation the provision according to which the legislative ban on making joint wills will apply not only to closed wills, wills made in emergency situations, but also wills made in banks.
