
On Grounds of the Russian State Award Institution in View of the Lon Fuller’s Concept of Two Moral and Value-Based Dimensions of Law

The article is devoted to the study of the foundations of the Russian institute of state awards, following L. Fuller’s concept of the existence of morality of duty and morality of aspiration in the law. The author states that state rewarding is a reciprocal positive sanction of society and the state for merits — positive activity manifestations of the positive responsibility of the individual, which are based on the morality of aspiration.
