The article is dedicated to review of the issues of application of artificial intelligence technologies in activities of law enforcement authorities. Advantages of such application are worded. It is noted that these technologies may also be used for criminal purposes. The author has also paid attention to the foreign experience in this sphere. The publication covers the application of artificial intelligence to identification of various objects, maintenance of various records in law enforcement structures, analysis of camera video footage to find offenders in more detail.
