The article is devoted to the consideration of important components of the mechanism of the legal regulation of the organization and implementation of road traffic. Based on the analysis of the provisions of the Traffic Rules of the Russian Federation and other regulations from the perspective of a systematic approach, the author examines the totality of these components and their interrelationships. The existing shortcomings of the legal regulation of the organization and implementation of road traffic are revealed. Taking into account the results obtained, proposals are formulated to improve the legal regulation mechanism under consideration.
