The administrative legislation of the 1990s and early 2000s aimed at ensuring the tax security of the state is studied. The stages and sub-stages of the development of legislation in the designated area are highlighted; the trends characteristic of each of the stages are formulated. Special attention is paid to the transformation of the legal status of executive authorities that ensure the national tax security.
