The article examines the practice of functioning of electronic platforms for public participation. Analysis of foreign experience shows that it is necessary to modernize the content of domestic platforms for public participation and websites of authorities, giving citizens more opportunities to independently submit proposals, as well as to motivate them to e-participation and joint management using various tools.
