The article is devoted to the analysis of the main processes of linguocultural space. Methods of conceptual analysis, comparative analysis, synthesis were used for the study. In nowadays culture, there are pretty many linguocultural trends at the intersection of conflict processes that require correct understanding and identifying the connection between global and local phenomena. The concept of glocalization (R. Robetson) is intended to reveal this relationship. The use of the concept of glocalization in studies of modern linguistic trends, according to the author, warns against the risk of speculative generalizations and overestimation of the processes of assimilation, homogenization and universalization of language.Modern trends of linguocultural space include universalization, gibritization, democratization, infantilization, decrease in the speech standard of public communication , simplification of the sentence structure, transformation of linguistic gender markers. Also problem of the influence of borrowed linguistic components was determined and analyzed (anglicisms in language). Special attention was paid to internet communication. Public e space has its own linguistic peculiarities and trends (internet slang, internet mems, imitation of human language by bots in virtual environment).
