Importance. At present, in modern society there is an increased need to solve the problem of discoloritis of the teeth. The paper presents a study of the durability of a coating of tooth enamel with decorative lacquer "Colordent" in combination with additional application of adhesives of different composition. Objective. To study the stability of the decorative coating of the enamel of teeth with the use of a self-etchable adhesive under different exposure options. Methods. The study was conducted on 100 healthy volunteers, who were divided into 4 groups of 25 people, each of which used one method of changing the color of the enamel of the teeth: 1) lacquer "Colordent"; 2) lacquer "Colordent" + adhesive “Belabond”; 3) lacquer "Colordent" + (adhesive “Belabond” + primer); 4) lacquer "Colordent" + adhesive «Single Bond». Then, in each group, different types of effects were used to the applied coating (food intake, cleaning of an ordinary and electric toothbrush with a paste for 3 minutes, ultrasonic cleaning and the Air Flow method). Results. The study showed different resistance of the decorative coating on tooth enamel, depending on their composition, type of exposure and time of exposure. The use of decorative lacquer "Colordant" with the adhesive "Belabond" and the adhesive "Single Bond" increases its resistance to cleaning with a conventional and electric toothbrush with a paste for 3 minutes on the fifth and tenth days after application, respectively. Conclusions. An increase in the duration of fixation of the varnish on the surface of teeth established due to an increase in the adhesive properties of the applied coating.
