This article is aimed at considering the legal nature of such a specific institution as subsidiary liability in bankruptcy. The transformation of the normative array in the field of establishing this institution is noted. Attention is drawn to current trends in determining the essence and legal nature of subsidiary liability in bankruptcy. The point of view of the studied responsibility as a type of organizational quasi-exclusive responsibility is supported.
