The author analyzes the theoretical and legal provisions of the employee's material liability to the employer. In particular, the conditions necessary for bringing an employee to financial responsibility and the specifics in the rules for compensation for damage caused by several persons are considered. Also considered is the separation of the employee's material liability from civil liability
