The article considers the essence of equity capital, the methodology of analysis, and also reveals the directions that contribute to improving the efficiency of its use. In particular, it is determined that at the present stage, the formation and efficiency of the use of equity capital is important because its value has a direct impact on the main indicators that characterize the financial condition of the enterprise
