The article examines the types of crimes of extremist orientation, as well as issues of classification of these offenses. It is concluded that it is possible to classify extremist crimes provided for in the Special Part of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in the disposition of which an extremist motive is indicated, or which are associated with the implementation of extremist activity, depending on the direction of qualifying signs, the object of the criminal encroachment and the construction design
