The article presents an analysis of the peculiarities of the process of formation of upbringing of a primitive man at various stages of the periods of savagery and barbarism of its existence. Clarifying the evolution of man's assimilation of the material world around him, the author substantiates both the conditionality of the upbringing process by a person's desire to adapt to the conditions of his ancient life, and the prehistory of the origins of the genesis of the upbringing system of a person in the subsequent period of his civilizational life.
