The article presents the results of the formation of medical students ' skills and abilities of research activities in laboratory and practical classes in chemistry. The goals, specific features and tasks of the discipline of chemistry are justified. Examples of individual and collective chemical experiments are presented. It is noted that the applied methods gradually form students ' skills of observation, mathematical calculations, the ability to correctly formulate conclusions and draw up a research protocol.
