The model of the reference training and sports water trip route for training tourism instructors and methodologists at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture (Minsk, Republic of Belarus) has been developed. The model determines the route structure and its indicators of educational, sports, recreational and technological qualities. The results of comparative assessment are provided for reference model’s quality and qualities of several water routes. A high-quality training and sports route is proposed for long-term use.
