Larval parasitism of Ethmia nigroapicella Saalmüller (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea: Ethmiidae) by Therophilus festivus (Muesebeck) is reported from Karnataka, India. This is the first illustrated record of solitary parasitism by T. festivus on its host E. nigroapicella .
