The article is devoted to the consent of a person to harm him as a possible circumstance, excluding the criminality of an act in medical activity. The signs of the legitimacy of a persons consent to medical intervention are analyzed, a criminal-law assessment of medical intervention is given, a version of Chapter 8 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is proposed by adding Article 42.1 Causing harm to a person with his consent.
