This work aims to present the production of teaching video materials with the translation in Libras carried out in a Scientific Initiation Project. We approach Dalton’s Atomic Theory, an integral part of the Atomic Theories content, contemplated by the Atomicity for the Deaf project carried out by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB), Campus João Pessoa, theoretically based on cultural studies on the deaf, considering visual experience and Libras as the main cultural artifacts of this community. The project was guided by the following methodological steps: research on the development of the aforementioned atomic theory, definition of the sequence of the concepts covered, script writing, image research for the elaboration of PowerPoint slides, content study and discussion of the translation into Libras, recording of the translation, audio recording, image processing, final editing and availability on the website. The final product consists of a set of video lessons in Libras, enabling linguistic accessibility to the deaf audience
