This article discusses the dynamically developing online community of the Сoloured population of South Africa - Vannie Kaap. The author made an attempt to evaluate the importance of this community and trace its history from the moment of its foundation in 2015 to the present day based on materials obtained mainly from the Internet. Particular attention is paid to the consideration and analysis of the causes of this phenomenon, its development and influence of the online group in shaping the images of the Coloured population among other South Africans.
