PENSAMENTO CRÍTICO, AUTÔNOMO E EMANCIPATÓRIO HOJE NO BRASIL

A realidade brasileira tornou urgente a tarefa posta por Kant de pensar de forma crítica e autônoma. Existem muitos sintomas de que vivemos atualmente sob um regime de barbárie e de negação da autonomia, tais como a negação compulsiva da realidade, o império da ideologia, o preconceito disseminado contra a ciência, o dogmatismo fundamentalista, a ascensão do neofascismo e da violência, o embrutecimento das classes médias, a colonização das mentes e corações pelo uso pervertido da religião. O objetivo desta comunicação é fortalecer a consciência crítica e apelar para a necessidade urgente de se pensar e agir contra as formas de barbárie presentes na sociedade. CRITICAL, AUTHONOMOUS AND EMANCIPATORY THINKING TODAY IN BRAZIL The Brazilian reality made urgent the task put by Kant to think critically and autonomously. There are many symptoms that we currently live under a regime of barbarism and denial of autonomy, such as the compulsive negation of reality, the empire of ideology and doxa, widespread prejudice against science, fundamentalist dogmatism, the rise neofascism and violence, the brutalization of middle classes, the colonization of minds and hearts through the perverted use of religion. The purpose of this communication is precisely to strengthen critical awareness and to appeal to the urgent need to think and act against the forms of barbarism present in society.
