in the Age of You Tube and Facebook, new ways of religiosity are appearing in the Web 2.0, some institutional but many create by single believer. This recent phenomena require both a theoretical and methodological treatment. New cases of promotion of saints and sanctuary are born with the emergence and development of Internet and social digital networks. This article aim to promote a reflection about new Digital Narratives, known also as Digital Storytelling, (DST) focused on kids and family. Using the case of the promotion in Spanish language of John Paul II the idea is to show changes and continuities between DST and more traditional narrations of saint’s promotions.Hagiografias Visuais e Dinâmicas: o Uso do Youtube para a Promoção dos Santos para CriançasResumo: Na Era do YouTube e Facebook aparece na Web 2.0 novas formas de religião popular e institucional. Esse fenômeno está recebendo um novo tratamento teórico e metodológico, instigado pelo surgimento de novos santuários com o desenvolvimento e expansão do acesso à Internet. Este artigo é uma reflexão sobre as narrativas digitais para as famílias e crianças ao analisar a produção digital na língua espanhola da figura de João Paulo II, demonstrando as mudanças e continuidades nas narrativas dos santos tradicionais.
