Le héros dans <em>La Bataille littéraire</em> après la Grande Guerre : une représentation au service d’une littérature nationale belge

Cet article expose comment, au sortir de la Grande Guerre, la revue La Bataille littéraire a utilisé la notion de « héros » au service d’une certaine conception de la littérature belge. La problématique de la littérature nationale, extrêmement présente dans la littérature de langue française produite en Belgique, trouve dans les rapports entre littérature et guerre un nouveau lieu d’incarnation : le héros, tel qu’il est conçu par la revue, devient ainsi le héraut d’une conception nationaliste et unitaire de la littérature belge.AbstractThis article reveals how, at the end of the Great War, the review La Bataille littéraire used the concept of the "hero" to advance a certain conception of the Belgian literature. The national literature’s problems, extremely visible in the French language literature produced in Belgium, find in the relationship between literature and war a new place of incarnation:  the hero, as envisioned by the review, thus becomes the herald of a nationalist and unified conception of the Belgian literature.
