The geomorphological evolution of Guadalhorce River Canyon and aside are as is the result of the interaction of erosive processes ( on the surface and underground) and the Trias lifting ( due do the appearance, in depth, of gypsum and/or rock salt), since Pliocene, in such a way that superficial and suhtcrranean drainage and gypsiferous massifs karstification are closely joincd nowadays
