On the cusp of growth and development, humanity confronts a crisis of confidence. Dualities of success and catastrophes abound. A deadly drought in Texas, followed by devastating floods in Austin and Dallas, Texas is not a freaky natural calamity. Human complicity is both hidden and underrated. Paradox of boom and gloom characterize the crisis of biodiversity compounded by environmental injustice.
