Estudio documental del valle de Pardomino (León)

En este trabajo intentamos realizar un estudio de la vida religiosa en el valle de Pardomino, en el municipio de Boñar (León). El más antiguo documento conocido data del año 917 y confirma la existencia de actividad religiosa antes de esta fecha. La regla benedictina fue implantada más tarde e introdujo la vida conventual en el valle. El trabajo pretende determinar el numero de monasterios así como su probable localización a partir del análisis toponímico de los documentos y la identificación actual de los lugares.   In this work we try to accomplish a study about the religious life in Pardomino Valley, in the surroundings of Boñar (León). The oldest document known is dated in the year 917 and it confirms the existence of religious activity before this date. The Benedictine rule was implanted later and brought the conventual existence to the Valley. The work pretends to determine the number of monasterios as well as their probable location based on the analysis of the documents and the present identification of the places.
