This study aims to determine the correlation between the internal locus of control and problem focused of coping on lay off employees at PT. Panca Patriot Prima. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational approach. The population in this study were lay off employees at PT. Panca Patriot Prima. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 50 employees who experienced layoffs. The instrument used was a modified internal control locus scale from the Levenson IPC scale and problem focused of coping scale prepared by the researcher. The results of this hypothesis test use Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results of this study indicate that internal locus of control and problem focused coping of lay off employees at PT. Panca Patriot Prima is at a very high range of norms. Correlation between internal locus of control and problem focused coping of lay off employees at PT. Panca Patriot Prima, Kab. Pasuruan is positive and significant with a significance value of 0.046 (less than 0.05). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lokus kendali iternal dan strategi coping stres berfokus masalah pada karyawan PHK di PT. Panca Patriot Prima. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan PHK di PT. Panca Patriot Prima. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 karyawan yang mengalami PHK. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala lokus kendali internal yang dimodifikasi dari skala IPC Levenson dan skala strategi coping stres berfokus masalah yang disusun oleh peneliti. Hasil uji hipotesis ini menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lokus kendali internal dan strategi coping stres berfokus masalah karyawan PHK di PT. Panca Patriot Prima berada pada rentangan norma sangat tinggi. Hubungan lokus kendali internal dan strategi coping stres berfokus masalah karyawan PHK di PT. Panca Patriot Prima Kab. Pasuruan adalah positif dan signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,046 (kurang dari 0,05).
