Abstrak. Tujuan peneitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keragaan karakter agronomi pada populasi F1 hasil persilangan Sigupai dan IRBB27. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan dan Rumah Kasa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh dimulai dari bulan Desember 2020 sampai Juni 2021. Media tanam yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tanah aluvial dan pupuk kandang dengan perbandingan 2:1. Bahan tanam yang digunakn terdiri dari atas populasi F1 hasil persilangan Sigupai dan IRBB27, tetua Sigupai dan IRBB27. Bibit berumur 15 hari setelah semai (HSS) dipindahkan ke pot percobaan. Tanaman dipelihara sesuai standar budidaya padi. Pemanenan dilaksanakan saat biji telah masak fisiologis atau malai telah menguning 90-95% dengan kriteria isi gabah sudah keras dan kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat keragaman karakter agronomi dari 40 tanaman F1 Sg/IRBB27.Terdapat 3 tanaman pada genotipe F1Sg/IRBB27 yang direkomendasikan untuk diteruskan ke generasi berikutnya, yaitu tanaman #1, #23 dan #33 yang memiliki tinggi tanaman dengan kisaran di bawah 140 cm lebih rendah dibandingkan tinggi tanaman tetua Sigupai. Selain itu, berat gabah perrumpun ketiga tanaman tersebut juga tinggi dibandingkan tanaman lainnya, yaitu lebih dari 20 g yang setara dengan tetua IRBB27.(The Performance of Agronomic Characters in F1 Populatian Derived from Sigupai and IRBB27)Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of agronomic characters in the F1 population derived from a cross between Sigupai and IRBB27. This research was carried out at the Experimental Farm and Screen House, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh from December 2020 to June 2021. The planting medium used in this study was alluvial soil and manure with a ratio of 2:1. The plant material used consisted of the F1 population from a cross between Sigupai and IRBB27, Sigupai and IRBB27. Seedlings at 15 days after sowing (DAS) were transferred to experimental pots. Plants are maintained according to rice cultivation standards. Harvesting is carried out when the seeds are physiologically ripe or the panicles have yellowed 90-95% with the criteria for the grain content being hard and dry. The results showed that there was a variation of agronomic characters from 40 F1 Sg/IRBB27 plants. There were 3 plants in the F1 Sg/IRBB27 genotype that were recommended to be passed on to the next generation, namely plants #1, #23 and #33 which has a plant height with a range of below 140 cm which is lower than the plant height of Sigupai. In addition, the grain weight of the three groups of plants was also high compared to other crops, which was more than 20 g which was equivalent to IRBB27.
