Tomato is one of the vegetable commodities in the horticulture sub-sector and is widely cultivated in Indonesia. Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah Regencies are the largest tomato producing centers in Aceh Province. The purpose of this study is to determine what technology is used by tomato farmers in Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah Districts, to find out tomato farmers with high technology adoption rates are more tolerant or not of tomato farming risks which were analyzed using qualitative descriptive and crosstabulation. The results showed that the tolerance attitude of tomato farmers who used technology in Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah Regency was included in the high category, namely dare to take risks and having more than two efforts in overcoming the risks of tomato farming. The technologies applied by tomato farmers in Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah Regencies are superior seeds, cultivation techniques according to recommendations, vegetable pesticides, integrated pest control, mulch, hand tractors, sprayers, irrigation, ponds, and packaging technology. Tomato farmers who have a high level of technology adoption are more tolerant in facing the risks of tomato farming.
