the sociology of physical culture and sports provides specialists, researchers, and government representatives with knowledge about the social component in the professional field of physical culture and sports. The main feature of the modern development of Russian society is the high dynamics of social and cultural changes characteristic of the “risk society”, to which the Russian society, which is transforming today, is fully related in the context of the pandemic. For example, the analysis of conditions for physical culture and sports and the identification of behavioral factors that affect motivation for training reveal many problems. Annual monitoring of the state of infrastructure and its assessment by the population allows us to form a qualitative picture of the needs of society in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
