Syndrome of the intervertebral and sacroiliac joints ("facet syndrome") in the pathology of the lumbosacral spine

The purpose of the work was to detection of facet syndrome of lower lumbar intervertebral and sacro-iliac joints in various types of spine pathology. In 1044 patients with facet syndrome the examination and treatment results were analysed. Manual therapy was shown to be one of the main methods for the treatment of facet syndrome with functional block. The application of that method enabled to achieve good and satisfactory results in 97,5% of cases.
